CHARLOTTEVILLE – Florence Truax Buck, 83, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at home with her family by her side.
She was born August 11, 1928 in Hobart, the daughter of Asa Chapman Truax and Eleanor Blake Truax.
Florence was a graduate of Charlotte Valley Central School, Class of 1946.
She married Charles Buck on November 9, 1947.
Florence was employed by Story House Corp until her retirement in 1982.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Buck Sr. of Charlotteville; her children, Dorothy and son-in-law, Larry Clark of Fairfield, CA, Charles Jr. and daughter-in-law, Candice Buck of Decatur, Beverly and son-in-law, Roger Lockwood of Richmondville, Donald and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Buck of Worcester and Carl Buck of Worcester; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Alice Cohn/Timms of Walton.
At Florence's request there will be no calling hours or funeral at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
