ONEONTA – Floyd M. (Ken) Farr, 78, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
He was born September 6, 1929 in Oneonta, the son of Leon John and Florence (Davis) Farr.
Floyd (Ken) at one time worked for Oneonta Oil & Fuel Company, Munson Brothers, Bundy Ready Mix, M & M Auction, and owned COD Heating Service.
He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church, the Oneonta Moose Lodge and the 6th Ward Athletic Club. Floyd (Ken) was also a dedicated volunteer for the Oneonta MDA Telethon, he was a.k.a. Flo.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Edith (Bonekoskey) Farr; a daughter, Patricia Monroe; a son, Kenneth Farr; and a grandson, Robert Joseph Perry.
Floyd (Ken) is survived by his daughters, Laura Moore of Wayland, NY and Terry Campisi of Oneonta; a son, Rodney Farr of Marysville, CA; brothers, Howard and Kathryn Farr of Livingston Manor and John and Shirley Farr of Florida.
