Francis R. Blanchard, 72, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at his residence.
He was born October 27, 1937 in Lawrence, MA; the son of Wilfred and Pauline (Loya) Blanchard.
He served in the United States Navy.
Fran is survived by his wife Barbara Blanchard of Decatur; a daughter, Daphne Wojtowecz of Saratoga Springs; grandchildren, Dan, Dale, Michael and Jared Wojtowecz; his sister, Theresa Morin of Woonsocket, RI and his brother Louie Blanchard of Decatur. He was predeceased by his son Kenneth Wescott.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 15, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at noon, at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main Street in Worcester. The Rev. Joseph Bokel will officiate the memorial service.
Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Fran to the SPCA, 4845 State Route 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
