Francis N. Frey, 81, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on August 29, 1932 in Huntington, NY; the son of Edwin and Georgia Lucy (Noyes) Frey.
Frank married AnnaMarie Stokes on November 25, 1955 in West Haverstraw, NY. She predeceased him on March 20, 2007.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Frank was a resident of the Town of Maryland for 30 years.
He was a member of the Schenevus VFW Post 2752, the CH Graham Hose Co., Otsego County Fire Police, F.A.S.N.Y., SW Johnson in Garnerville, NY and Bellmawr Park in New Jersey.
Frank is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Reuss and her husband Charles of New Jersey and Tammie Schultz and her husband Raymond of New Jersey; 6 grandchildren, Brett, Kristopher, Laurie, Carly, Randy and PFC Joseph Lehman USMC; 1 great granddaughter Sophia, 2 sisters, Annie Coyne and Mae Smith and many, much loved nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by 7 siblings.
Calling hours will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St. in Schenevus.
Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Frank to the C.H. Graham Hose Co., PO Box 116, Schenevus, NY 12155.
