WORCESTER - Frederick W. Voss, 96, passed peacefully into the hands of our Lord July 21, 2013, after a long battle in which he was a beacon of grace, courage, good humor, and love for all around him. Born June 2, 1917, in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of William and Anna (Seebode) Voss and life partner of Lorraine Margaret (Hoehn) Voss. They celebrated their 67th anniversary June 8.


Fred is survived by Lorraine, 88; daughter, Sandra; son, Daniel; son-in-law, Charles Whitney; daughter-in-law, Maria Voss; grandchildren, Erin Brenner, Brooke Foret, Richard Voss, Jonathan Burke, Aaryn Burke, and Catherine Keating; niece, Carolyn Calandra; and 9 great-grandchildren; and predeceased by brother, Karl Hohmann. Above all, Fred was devoted to his family. He's still with us; always will be.


Viewing will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St., Worcester.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Worcester United Methodist Church, 111 Main St.
