Fredrick Arthur Beardslee Sr., 75, passed away, January 13, 2023 at Bassett Medical center in Cooperstown.

He was born on October 12, 1947 in Walton, the son of Carl and Frances (Grotevant) Beardslee.

Fred married Louise Russell in July of 1971.

He served in the United States Army from 1966-1969.

Fred worked as a correctional officer for 25 years. His last employment was with the Summit Shock Facility.  He also ran the Worcester Lanes and drove a school bus for Worcester Central School.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and bowling.

Fred is survived by his wife Louise Beardslee, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Aaron Wood, his son Fredrick and his wife Serenity Beardslee and his daughter Katie and her husband Dan Overton, his grandchildren, Joshua & Abigal Wood, Valarie & Tatum Beardslee and Grayson & Drake Overton; and his siblings Margaret Cobane, Inda Beers and Bertrum Beardslee.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Robert Beardslee Sr. and Douglas Beardslee.
