Worcester – Gary M. Pongrac, 71, went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2021.

He was born September 20, 1949 in Perth Amboy, NJ, the son of John and Clarita (Page) Pongrac.

Gary worked for Twin County Groceries in Edison, NJ for 25 years.  After retirement he moved to Decatur, where he and his wife, Grace have been residing for 21 years. Gary kept busy working for BJ's Wholesale in Oneonta.  He enjoyed photography and wood working.  He was a member of the NRA and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He most especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace (Griswold) Pongrac; daughters, Donna and Dennis Carrino Jr. of Toms River, NJ, and Dawn Offenburger of Forked River, NJ; grandchildren, Jessica Eifert, Cory Eifert, Kyle Offenburger, Chrystianna Carrino, Dennis Carrino, III, and Hannah Carrino; 6 great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Riley, Charlie, Aiden, Anthony and Bentley and  several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister and two brothers.

A celebration of life will take place in the future.
