Oneonta – Gary R. Swift, 74, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2021.

Gary was a United States Army Veteran.  He was employed with D&H Railroad for 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Swift; children, Joe (Dawn) Sperry, Michele Jones, and Aaron (Terrie) Swift; grandchildren, Krista, Destiny, Nathaniel, Ryann and Aaron; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Military honors will be presented at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 10, at the 6 ^th Ward Athletic Club in Oneonta, followed by a celebration of life till 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the 6 ^th Ward Athletic Club, 22 West Broadway, Oneonta, NY 13820 or to the Susquehanna SPCA 4841 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
