Gertrude Laura Stewart, 95, of Clermont, FL., passed away March 8, 2007 under the care of hospice.
She was born February 27, 1912 in Franklin, NY, daughter of Adelbert and Agnes (Stilson) Robinson.
She was a homemaker and a former resident of Franklin where she was a member of the Congregational Baptist Church.
Her husband of 63 years, Harold Stewart preceded her in death in 1992 as did siblings Marian Jordan, Leon Robinson, Lena Jordan and Ray Robinson.
Surviving is her sister Marguerite Williams of Oneonta, many loving and living nieces and nephews including Audrey Marcella, Jean Pritchet, Dale Ackley, Dennis Ackley, Richard Ackley and Agnes Payton and several great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta with the Rev. Mel Farmer, pastor of the River Street Baptist Church officiating.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service time at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Gertrude to the Cornerstone Hospice, 108 W. America Street, Orlando, FL 32801.
