Gianna Marie Burton, 31, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 3, 2026.

She was born February 8, 1995, in Oneonta, the daughter of Robert J. Burton, Sr. and Barbara (Van Haaren) Burton.

Gianna graduated from Schenevus Central School. She loved taking care of people, which was reflected in her work as a home healthcare aide. She deeply cared for her clients, who became like family, as well as the colleagues she worked alongside. She previously worked at the Cobleskill ARC and was currently working as a babysitter. Gianna would do anything for anyone; she had an infectious laugh and a bright smile and was dearly known as "Queen G". She loved her family immensely, as well as her pets, Hercules, Sweetie, Luna, and Gigi. She also enjoyed going to the beach and tanning in the sun. 

She is survived by her parents, Barbara and Brian Rock, and Robert Burton and Jennifer Provenzano; her siblings, Robbie Burton and Leah Johnson, Gabriel Rock, Eric and Val Burton, Josh and Brittany Burton, Jessica and Theo Ritton, Kim Rock and Dylan Vickerson, Brianna Rock and Tyler Richards, Brian Rock, Jr., Cassandra and Tyler Stewart, and Mariah and James Provenzano; her aunts and uncles, Eugene Van Haaren and Donna Ferrara, Debbie and Larry Eichler, John and Jessica Van Haaren, Thomas and Camille Van Haaren, Don and Wendy Burton, and Barb and Scott St. John; her grandparents, Arnold and Sandra Rock; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joanne and Bob Cardoanto, Eugene and Judy Van Haaren, and Henry and Myrna Burton; her uncles, Jimmy, Herbie, and Hankie Burton; as well as Ann Grant. 

A prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM, followed by visitation until 7:00 PM, on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home,155 Main St., Worcester, NY. 

The burial at the Westford Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
