Gisela M. "GG" Manchester, 83, passed away, Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born on May 6, 1937, the daughter of Karl and Marie (Irmscher) Ries.

GG was born in Germany and moved to America with her husband Harry D. Manchester, living in Worcester most of her life. He predeceased her in 1967.

Gisela worked as a tester at a chocolate factory in Germany. She also worked at Eden Park Nursing Home in Cobleskill.

GG enjoyed bingo, crocheting, shopping, gardening, nature and dancing.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, JoAnn Manchester, MaryLou Manchester and Brenda Manchester and her companion Bill Lange; 2 sons, Floyd Manchester and his wife, Valerie and Klaus Peter Manchester and his wife, Shannon; her daughter-in-law, Gabi Ries; her grandchildren, Swen, Phyllis, Denise, Gabi, Johnny and Ally; her great-grandchildren, Alicia, Jazmin and Martin and her several nieces and nephews.

Gisela was predeceased by her daughter, Rosalie Stutzman; her son, Ralf Ries; her granddaughter, Cheryl Snyder and several siblings.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
