Obituary

DAVENPORT – Glenn L. Zuill, 51, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2014. As he wished, he was home with his wife and children.



He was born December 26, 1962 in Cornwall, NY.



Glenn grew up in Davenport and graduated from Charlotte Valley Central School, Class of 1981. After graduation he was employed by David Beisler and in 1992 started his own business, Zuill Excavating.



He met Karen French in 1991. Together in 1997 they built the house they always wanted. They were married on July 29, 2000 at the Schenevus United Methodist Church.



He loved hunting, snowmobiling and being outdoors. He most especially loved being with his children and was very proud of them.



Glenn was an active member of the Sharon Pathfinders snowmobiling club.



He is survived by his wife, Karen Zuill and their children, Gregory,12, Ryan,10 and Jessica,7; his mother, Deanna Brown of Davenport; a sister, Debbie (Ralph) Morse of Ballston Spa and sons, Jordan and Austin; a brother, Jeff (Thelma) Zuill of Bainbridge and son, Cory; a brother, Randall (Christina) Zuill of Davenport and children, Edward and Rachel; mother-in-law, Marjorie French; sisters-in-law, Janet (John) Kostbar and Cynthia (David) Landry and numerous close friends.



He was predeceased by his pop, Edward Brown and his German Shepard and best friend, Kelly.



Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St., Schenevus.



A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, Main St., Schenevus.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Delaware County, Backyard Critters 4H Club, 34570 State Hwy 10 Suite #2, Hamden, NY 13782. 4H is an organization that means a great deal to Glenn and his children.
