Gorica Krajovan, 70, passed away, Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her residence.


She was born March 8, 1937 in Yugoslavia, the daughter of Ilia and Ana (Radukic) Brkin.


Gorica married Kosta Krajovan on November 29, 1953 in Yugoslavia.


She and her husband immigrated to the United States in 1966 and has been an area resident for the past 20 years.


Gorica is survived by her husband, Kosta of Laurens; a son, Stevan Krajovan and his wife, Persida of Laurens; a granddaughter, Melanie Krajovan and a grandson, Steven Krajovan Jr. both of Laurens. She was loved greatly by her grandchildren.


A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz Street, Oneonta with the Rev. Daniel Ene, officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Emmons.


Calling hours will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007 and from 9:00 a.m. till the service time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
