WORCESTER – Grace N. Hill, 94, passed away January 29, 2019 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.

She was born January 2, 1925 in Brooklyn, the daughter of Alfred and Agnes (Larsen) Nielsen.

Grace married Kenneth Hill on March 9, 1947 in Worcester. He predeceased her on February 21, 1986.

She was an active member with the Worcester United Methodist Church.

Grace is survived by her children, Alfred Hill Sr, Alice and Gary Hughes, and Ellie Hill, all of Worcester; grandchildren, Alfred Hill Jr., Dawn Adams, Joseph Hill, Michael Hill, JoAnn Beverland, Kathleen Fitzgerald, and Lori Till; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Agnes Nielsen; brother, John Nielsen; and grandson, Eric Tompkins.

Calling hours will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with the funeral at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Daniel Martin, officiating.

Interment at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester, will be at a later date.
