Gregory Lee St.Onge, of Oneonta, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 after a valiant struggle with bladder cancer.

He was the son of Leon and Celia St.Onge, born on November 14, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY.

Greg is survived by his wife, Lisa St.Onge; his mother, Celia St.Onge; his son, Justin St.Onge; his daughter, Darcie Moore; 2 grandchildren; his brother, Ken St.Onge; two sisters, Linda Piper and Larraine Miller; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Greg was a graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a major in history. He was very politcally minded.

Before his illness, Greg had been a contractor specializing in finishing work. He had a unique talent for restoring old homes to their original beauty. He created many wonderful projects of lasting value throughout the area.

Greg also enjoyed gardening and had a love of nature.

Greg was a kind man with a good heart and a great sense of humor. He was a good friend and will be deeply missed.

The Celebration of Life Service for will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4th at the Unitarian Universalist Society Church, 12 Ford Ave. Oneonta.
