CHARLOTTEVILLE - Hazel D. Wilsey, 92, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Bassett Healthcare Hospital in Cooperstown.
She was born May 2, 1914 in Hunter, the daughter of Iremas and Edith (Rider) Bouton.
Hazel lived in Charlotteville for 85 years. She was married to Henry Wilsey Sr. who died on July 31, 1964.
She is survived by 5 generations. Her children, Robert Wilsey and Blanche Duncan of Oneonta, Henry Wilsey Jr. of Charlotteville, John and Debra Wilsey of Jefferson, and Helen and Ronald Boynton of Charlotteville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Florence Johnsen and Illa Smith both of Albany; a great-granddaughter, Illianna Boynton and her brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jennifer Dyer, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church in Cobleskill, officiating.
She will be laid to rest in the Charlotteville Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Charlotteville Fire Department.
