Helene C. Sellick, 60, of Hartwick, passed away, Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.

She was born on January 20, 1947, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Rooney) Weber.

Helene married Robert L. Sellick on March 6, 1965 in Brooklyn.

She was a waitress for Laura's Restaurant in Hartwick and was currently working for ARC as a bus monitor.

Helene was a life long area resident who enjoyed camping, auto racing and her travels to Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Sellick of Hartwick; 3 cousins, Patricia Fiederer of Worcester, William Dunne of Worcester and Regina Peterson of New Jersey; 5 nieces, Heather Stickles, Heidi Sellick, Lori Hoag, Wanda Staats and Stacey Tylee; 2 nephews, David and Jeff Sellick; 2 sister-in-laws, Lula Hawley and Phyllis Tylee; 2 brother-in-laws, Ivan Preston and Donald Sellick; many close friends, including Jennifer and Randy Phillips and Brian Michaels.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother-in-law, David Sellick and a sister-in-law, Betty Preston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Worcester with the Rev. Edward J. Golding as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the Schenevus Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch Street, Schenevus.
