WORCESTER - Herbert Burton, 62, of Westford, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, peacefully in his home.
He was born in Cooperstown to Hank and Myrna Burton, Dec. 9, 1958. He was a 1977 graduate of Schenevus Central School and went on to work construction and later starting Breakaway Farm in Westford. Herb was known for his love for football and the Minnesota Vikings, along with his close relationship with his mother.
Herbert is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Myrna Burton; and his beloved younger brother, James Burton.
He is survived by his children, Jacob and Elizabeth, Nathan and Kristin, Ashley Reed; siblings, Hanky, Bobby, Don and Wendy, Barb and Scott St. John; along with his six grandkids, Jackson, Ethan, Carleigh, Cooper, Paige and Hannah Reed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Westford and or Worcester Fire Departments.
There will be a burial in the Westford Cemetery followed by a private service for the family at a later date.
