JEFFERSON – Howard A. Stannard, 50, passed away January 8, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 27, 1962 in Jefferson, the son of Lloyd H. Stannard Sr. and Bertha E. (Morell) Stannard.
Howard was an area life resident. He worked at EFJ Inc. in Cobleskill as a painter. He loved old country music, camping, cars, cutting wood and visiting with family and friends.
Howard is survived by his daughter, Christine Stannard of Stamford; a son, Mark Stannard of Davenport; his companion, Wanda Hagadorn of Jefferson; his mother and step-father, Bertha Stannard-Cooper and John Cooper of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Alayna Stannard and Gabriella Stannard of Davenport; a sister, Joyce Merwin of Jefferson; two brothers, Llyod Stannard Jr. of Richmondville and Mike Stannard of Cherry Valley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Llyod Stannard Sr.
A gathering for friends and family will be from Noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Davenport Fire House.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
