Howard G. Stevens, Jr., 69, passed away on May 27, 2023 at home with family by his side from a sudden illness.

He was born April 20, 1954 in Oneonta, to the late Howard and Frances (Morell) Stevens.

He is survived by sons, Howard Stevens and Tim (Ashley) Stevens; grandsons, Cooper and Brogan Stevens, all of Georgia; siblings, Gerald (Sandra) Stevens, Milton (Becky) Stevens, Andrea (Kevin) Norton, Myron (Kathleen) Stevens, Donald Stevens, all of Worcester and Ed (Bonnie) Chase of Morris; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

As a youth he loved football, baseball, weight lifting and wrestling.  He worked at Craftsman in Stamford for many years.  Howard went back to the Stevens Farm in Worcester.  He had a love for horses.

At his request he was cremated, ashes will be spread on the farm along by his beloved horse; and there will be no services.

Howard will be leaving us on his spirit horse.
