James C. Bell's Obituary
ONEONTA – James C. Bell, 88, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on March 22, 2016.
James retired from D&H Railroad, where he worked for many years. He loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruth (Silvernail) Bell; his daughters, Jean (David) Christensen and Joan (Ron) Martini; grandchildren, Amy (Justin), Brad (Jessica); Marissa (Jeff) and Mary (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Matthew, Wyatt, Jordan, Jaelyn, and Jenevie; a brother, William (Phyllis) Bell; a sister, Laura (Ben) Haney; a sister-in-law, Lois Bell; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, David Bell, Dorothy (John) Winn and Barbara (Alfred) Winn.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
