East Meredith – James J. Eigel, Jr., 60, passed away June 2, 2018 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

He was born August 23, 1957 in Mansfield, Ohio, son on of James J. Eigel, Sr. and Ruth E. (Jones) Eigel.

James served in the United States Army and National Guard.

He is survived by his sister, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, close family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 381 Brickhouse Hill Road, East Meredith, NY 13757.
