Worcester – James A. Grandi, 75, passed away June 5, 2023 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

He was born November 13, 1947 in Canada, the son Salvatore James and Lillian (Dandurand) Grandi.

James grew up on Long Island.  He graduated from Bellport High School and Suffolk County Community College.

He married Rosanna Sanchez in Port Jefferson in 1974.

James worked at Grumman Aerospace Corp., Raytheon Technologies and retired as an Electrical Engineer from Telephonics Corporation.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge, a huge NASCAR fan, enjoyed playing his guitar and above all loved his family most especially his grandchildren. In 2020 he and Rosanna moved to Worcester.

He is survived by his wife, Rosanna; children, Anthony and wife, Debra, Chrisinda, Jamei and husband, Ron, Jamie and wife, Tiffany; grandchildren, Brannon, Nicholas, James Tyler, Matthew, Amanda, Lynnessa, RJ, Rianna, Michael, Lilly and Charlee; great-grandson, Kai.

He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter Venessa and a grandson, Anthony James.

Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester, NY.

The funeral mass will be Noon, Monday, June 12, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 201 Main St., Worcester, NY.
