EAST WORCESTER – James W. Sivertsen, 81, died November 8, 2020 while hospitalized.

Jim was a United States Army veteran.  He was a member of the Worcester American Legion, the Schenevus AmVets Club, and The Wanderer's Car Club.  He was also the Commissioner of the East Worcester Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Laraine (Wheelock) Sivertsen; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Greg Beams; grandsons, Jason and Gregory Beams; brother, George Martin Sivertson; and several nieces and a nephew.

A memorial service with military honors will be 2 p.m., November 13, 2020 at the Second Baptist Church, Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle officiating.  Please wear a face cover and maintain social distancing.
