Worcester - James Thomas Wenzel Jr., 60, passed away Thursday May 10, 2012 at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.

He was born on April 2, 1952 in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of James Thomas and Shirley Ann (Golberg) Wenzel Sr.

James married Darlene Dallas Sills on June 20, 1997 in Loudon, TN.

He was an artist and Vice President of The Friends of the Library in Worcester.

James is survived by his wife, Darlene Dallas Sills; 2 sons, James T. Wenzel III and his loving companion Emily and Ryan T. Wenzel; a daughter, Shirlene Vaughn and her husband Greg; 4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons; his mother Shirley A. Wenzel; a brother, Pete Wenzel and his wife Kate; a sister, Michelle Marsh and her husband Bob; 4 nieces, 4 nephews, and his friend Harry Halloway.

He was predeceased by his father and a sister Ann.

James put his hands, mind and heart into all he did for everyone. He was a well loved son, brother, uncle, grandfather, dad, husband and friend and will be sorely missed by all.

A Celebration of James' Life will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St. in Worcester.
