Jane Ellen (Pease) Fancher, 74, passed away October 21, 2012 at Bassett Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born July 4, 1938; the daughter of Fredrick Pease Sr. and Doris (Jones) Pease.

On November 2, 1956 she married Paul Fancher and began her life as a dairy farmer, homemaker and mother of five.

She was an extremely strong woman who faced much adversity but, who never gave up. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and the importance of never giving up on the belief that things will get better.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, Paul, and her brother Fredrick Pease Jr. of Texas. She is also survived by her children, son Paul Fancher Jr., son Allan Fancher, daughter Penny Finger and partner Bill Howard and their children Steven, Megan, Christopher and wife Jeneane, Nicole, Jonathon and David, son Dennis Fancher and wife Renee and their children Zachary, Christopher and Danielle, daughter Tammy and husband Dennis Terrell and their children Samantha, Dakota and Cheyenne, and her great-grandchildren Christopher and Oliva.

She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Feciskonin, Nancy Miller, Margaret Salsibury and Carol Furman.

In honor of her wishes, Jane will be cremated and there will be no services.
