WORCESTER – Janet Marie (Doyle) Terrell, 71, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at Wilkes-Barre (Kindred) Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA after a short illness.

She was born on August 9, 1940, the daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Doyle. She was a graduate of Charlotte Valley School in Davenport.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Christopher M. Terrell of Worcester, whom she married on May 28, 1960; her four children, Dennis (Tammy) Terrell of Hartwick, Carol (William) White of Sprakers, Richard Terrell of Worcester and Michael (Monica) Terrell of Thousand Island; six grandchildren, Christopher and Jason White, Samantha, Dakota, and Cheyenne Terrell and Sophia Terrell; 6 sisters, 3 brothers, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, and 1 sister.

Janet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a caring person who always put her family first and loved them all unconditionally. Janet was a homemaker and also worked as a cook at Buck Hill Farms for their pancake breakfast, which she enjoyed very much. She loved watching her soap opera, listening to music, and baking. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Janet was a member of St. Anna's and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the E.J. Skinner Co Funeral Chapel in Worcester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester, with the Rev. Ronald Green, MM as celebrant.

Burial will take place at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
