Obituary

NAPLES, Fla. - Mrs. Janice (Terry) Hulbert, went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2024, in Naples, Florida, surrounded by family after a long battle with dementia.


Born to Francis and Avis (Oliver) Terry on Sept. 3, 1944, in Unadilla, she later married the love of her life, Harry Hulbert.
Together they had five children, raising them in West Oneonta, until 1984, when they relocated to Naples, where they both lived until their passings.


Janice is survived by her children, Kim Villada, Cheryl Brown, Brian Hulbert and Darrian Hulbert; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Hulbert; daughter, Penny Keeling; and grandson, AJ Brown.


She she had a gigantic heart and taught her children that family was the most important thing in their lives. She was a loving, caring and selfless wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her and had the privilege of being loved by her.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m., Friday, April 12, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, NY.  The Rev. Phil Livermore will be officiating.


Burial services will be at 1 p.m., May 16, in Cook Cemetery in West Oneonta. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
