SCHENEVUS – Jeremiah J. Rossman, 22, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2006, due to injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born December 9, 1983 in Oneonta, the son of James L. and Debra V. (Stannard) Rossman.
As a little boy he was mommy and daddy's pride and joy. Jer was a fun loving and kind hearted young man. He was always dependable, loyal and a trusted friend to both his family and friends. His passions were outdoor sports, four wheeling, paintballing, swimming, his animals, laughing and activities with his friends and family.
He was employed at Wal-Mart for several years, a job he enjoyed.
He attended both Worcester and Schenevus schools. Jakey was so full of life and enriched the life of anyone who knew him.
He is survived by his father, James Rossman of Schenevus; his sister, Sheila and her husband, Raymond Misner of Worcester; grandparents, Richard and Volneta Stannard of Davenport; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Jer was predeceased by his mother, Debra Rossman on May 4, 2004; his grandparents, Barent and Alice Rossman; great-grandparents, Floyd and Ida Strobeck; a cousin, Arnetta Rossman, and an uncle, Edward VanSteenburg.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m on Monday, August 7, 2006 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, chaplain at AO Fox Memorial Hospital officiating.
Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester.
Following the services friends are invited to join the family at the North Harpersfield Community Hall.
