Joan M. Wenck Brienza's Obituary
ONEONTA – Joan M. Wenck Brienza, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
She was born March 13, 1932 in the Bronx, the daughter of Herbert and Lenna (Klingel) Merritt.
Joan retired from A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital where she worked as a switchboard operator, a job she really enjoyed.
She was dedicated to her family and was always ready to help in anyway she could.
She is predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Brienza and her best friend, Gwen Chandler.
Joan is survived by her 4 children, Lenna Hultman, Cathy Chase, Sandy Engelhardt and Herb Wenck; 5 grandchildren, Jolene and Billy Thompson, Harold and Grace Stilson, Kelly Engelhardt Halstead, Angie Engelhardt and Crystal Hultman; and 10 great-grandchildren.
