Obituary

EAST WORCESTER – John Ebeling, 68, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.



He was born December 6, 1939 in Brooklyn, the son of Rolf and Carmella (Ervilino) Ebeling.

He was a United States Army veteran.

John grew up and spent most of his life in suffolk county Long Island where he was an auto mechanic. He and his wife bought their property in East Worcester nearly 20 years ago and fulfilled their dream of retiring to the country in 2005.



He loved riding his Harley Davidson, small and big game hunting and enjoyed a good movie. He was true outdoorsman and devoted family man. He was a fanatical Yankees fan, which was passed on to his children and grandchildren.



John was deeply loved by his family and friends. He lived for and is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joanne.He is also survived by his two sons; four daughters; 11 grandchildren; his father, brother and sister; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and very dear friends.



Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.
