Franklin

John T. Terwilliger, 65, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown .

He was born on December 11, 1948 in Franklin, the son of Earl and Doretta (Cleaveland) Terwilliger.

John was a lifelong Delaware County resident who graduated from Delaware Academy .

He was proud of the time that he worked for the Delhi Police Department.  John was past president of the Board of Realtors in Oneonta and a 20 plus year volunteer for Saturday's Bread in Oneonta.

John is survived by his wife, Jo Terwilliger;  his step -son, Robert Scarzafava and his 2 sisters, Marilyn Peeter and Elsie Poff.

He was predeceased by both of his parents.

There will be no calling hours and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of John to the Saturday's Bread, 66 Chestnut Street , Oneonta, NY 13820.
