Obituary

WORCESTER – John H. Turner, Jr., 46, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

He was born January 21, 1966 in Huntington, NY, the son of John H. Turner Sr. and Jacqueline (O'Brien) Turner.

John and his family moved to Worcester in 1972. He was a graduate of Worcester Central School, Class of 1985. John attended an auto body repair technical school in Connecticut. He enjoyed detailing cars, painting homes, gardening and lawn care. He was a jack of all trades. John also enjoyed working with his brother, Michael who owned Karker Tree Service. John had a generous and loving heart and was always willing to help any one who was in need.

He is survived by his parents, John and Jackie Turner of Worcester; his sister, Shannon and husband, Christian DeLuca of Yorktown, VA; a nephew, Michael Turner Jr. "Moe" of the Unites State Air Force, a niece, Alyssa Paige Turner "Ali" of Maryland, NY, and their mother, Sherri Falcone; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Patti Ortolani, Jim and Jule Turner and Tim and Maryann O'Brien; cousins, Amy and John "BJ" Seuberth, Seth and Jamie Ortolani, James Turner, Jason and Seema Turner, Tara Turner, Melissa Hultz, Lacey and Zach McQuinn and TJ and Kat O'Brien; Shelley and Bob Putnam and family, Bridget and Jack Kenney and family, Ed and Jenn Kenney and family, Colleen and Andy Cardone and family; "uncles", Joe Brennen Alton Makley, and Marv Parshall; life long friend, Kenneth Robinson and his son (John's God Son), Corey, special friends, Penny and Guy Hults, and Tina Engler and family.

He was predeceased by his brother, Michael J. Turner; grandparents, John and Dorothy Turner and George and Edna O'Brien; and an aunt, Michelle Kenney.

Calling hours will be 6 to 7 p.m. with the funeral starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, officiating.
