SCHENEVUS - John Versweyveld, 86, passed away peacefully at home October 24,
2014.


He was born February 21, 1928 in Washingtonville, the son of Alphons and Anna
Versweyveld. He graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1946. He served
in the United State Army, being honorably discharged in 1954.


John was a life long dairy farmer.


He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn A. (White) Versweyveld; two
sons, Daniel J. Versweyveld of Ghent, KY and James J. and Janet Versweyveld of
Delavan, WI; a daughter, Jacqueline and Christopher Kelder of Accord, NY; eight
loving grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel, Sian, Lauren, Jillian, Luke Versweyveld
and John and Kaitlyn Kelder; a sister, Patricia Walker of Sebring, FL; a
brother, Denis and Judith Versweyveld of Vergennes, VT; and several nieces and
nephews.


Private family service will be held at a later time.
