Joseph Donald Clary, of Oneonta, passed away on July 10, 2026. Born on January 9, 1989, in Oneonta, he was the son of Michael Jones and Kim Clary.  

Joey grew up in Oneonta and was known for his heart of gold and helping others. 

He especially loved fishing and was passionate about drawing.

He is survived by his son, Amere Clary; his mother, Kim Clary; his brother, Chase Clary; his grandmother, Lillian Clary; his uncle Anthony Clary and Kelly Hoyt and daughter, Zeta Clary; his uncle Donald Clary and Diane, and children Melina and Devin Clary; and his close friend/brother, Camden Hayes.

He was predeceased by his father and his grandfather, Donald Clary.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM at the Lewis Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta. The Reverend Kurt Funke will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillington Cemetery in Morris.
