Josephine Florentina Liuba passed through the gate of Heaven into the loving arms of Jesus on November 23, 2025.

She is the beloved daughter of Matei and Catherine (MacDonald) Liuba; granddaughter of Ron and Catherine MacDonald, Florentina Liuba and Stefan Liuba; niece of Craig and Liza, Cedric, Christine and Mark, and John; a great-niece to Constantin Liuba; cousin to Caitlyn, Mary and Matthew; dearly loved by, Steve, Peter and Amy, Bill and Lucille, Helen, Michael, Greg and Samantha, Alesia, Brittany, Nicole, Jena, and Rachel; and Peach, Sylvia, Alina and Louie.

She was predeceased by family members, John and Catherine MacFarlane, Georgeta, Matei, Constantin, and Ileana.

The funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 201 Main St, Worcester, NY, with the Fr. Joseph Arockiasamy as celebrant.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
