WEST ONEONTA – Julia C. Kuralowicz, 82, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2006 at her home.

She was born December 3, 1923 in Cooperstown, the daughter of Albert and Eva (Dunham) Green.

She married William Koeppe, who predeceased her in 1964, and then married Henry Kuralowicz, who predeceased her in 1977.

Julia was employed at Bassett Healthcare Hospital in Cooperstown in the Housekeeping Department and as a nurse's aide for many years. She also worked for the Office For The Aging, and was also a at home care nurse's aide.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Oneonta and a Cub Scout Den Mother. Julia was a big New York Yankee and Oneonta Yankee Fan. She enjoyed playing the Lotto, crossword puzzles and watching wrestling.

She is survived by her son, Ted and his wife, Felicia Koeppe of West Oneonta; a daughter, Helene and her husband, Bill Lattenhauer of Long Island; grandchildren, Theodora, Steven, Ted Koeppe Jr., Ted Bennett, Jeniffer, Amanda, Harley, Patrick, Christine, Jillian, William II, Johnny and Clayton; several great-grandchildren, including, Kaitlyn, Caleb and Damian; a sister, Rose Kattanick; a nephew, Steven Vargo; a niece, Kathy Sutliff; and several nieces and nephews; her best and closest friend, Robert Theill.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Richard; brothers, John and Ira and sister, Loretta.

Calling hours will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 17, 2006 at the First United Presbyterian Church, 2 Walling Ave., Oneonta, with the Rev. Willem Bodisco Massink, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be at the Adams Cemetery, Fly Creek.
