Julia R. Pros' Obituary
Julia R. Pros, 96, formerly of Cornwallville, NY passed away peacefully at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta on October 9, 2012.
She was born in Manhattan on August 5, 1916, the daughter of William and Katie (Wagner) Rees.
Julia married Anton Pros on August 26, 1944 and they had two children, Gary and Peter.
Julia is predeceased by her son, Gary and husband, Anton. She is survived by her son, Peter (Kathy) Pros, and granddaughter, Jennifer Pros. Julia was simply known as "Grandma" to many, including Erin Hodges and JoAnn Battaglia-Hall, who spent much time with her throughout the years.
Julia loved the outdoors, being active and spending time with her granddaughter. Her sense of humor, energy and zest for life will be missed by all who knew her.
At Julia's request there will be no service or calling hours.
