East Worcester

Julia V. Zeh, 88, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at the A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

She was born on May 28, 1929 in Port Arthur, TX, the daughter of Frank and Julia (Melito) Grasso.

Julia married Marvin Zeh on August 29, 1943 in East Worcester. He predeceased her on October 14, 2014.

Julia worked and retired from Astrocom Electronics in Colliersville.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Worcester.

Julia is survived by her daughters, Dolores and her husband, James Kille of Holly Hills, FL, Candace and her husband, Douglas Wheeler of Poughquag, NY, Robin and Andrew, McNichol of Worcester and Angelyn Starr and her fiance' Robert Pinkowski; her sister, Maria Dauley of Hiram, GA; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her son-in-law, Alan Colbran of Montrose, NY and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Helen Bouck Colbran; her brothers, Frank, Joseph and William Grasso and her son-in-law, James Bouck.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street in Worcester with the Rev. Paul Timmerman officiating. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.

Burial will follow at the East Worcester Cemetery.
