Davenport – Karen L. Kelsey, 70, passed away August 27, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

She was born January 3, 1953 in the Bronx, the daughter of Francis Joel and Eleanor (Still) Meehan.

Karen married Richard Edward Kelsey on September 25, 1971 in Hawthorne, NY.

She was a Special Education Aide and a Board Member at Wingdale School District in Wingdale, NY.

Karen was a volunteer member of the Pindars Corners Fire Department and the Davenport Fire Department.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Kelsey; a daughter, Meagan and husband, Robert Barton; a son, Michael Patrick Kelsey; and a granddaughter, Leyla Lynn Barton.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Private services will be held.
