Karrie M. Rosen's Obituary
ONEONTA – Karrie M. Rosen, 61, after a long illness crossed over to be with her Lord and savoir early Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 8, 1949 in Utica.
Karrie married Michael Rosen May of 1990 in Oneonta.
She was employed by A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital as a LPN and was also a private duty nurse for many years.
Above and beyond anything else Karrie was a kind and generous person. She loved and was dedicated to her family. She enjoyed gardening and homemaking.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Rosen of Oneonta; her daughter, Elizabeth and Stephen Vogelsang of Mexico, NY and their children, Sara and Michael; her son, James Teachout and his daughters, Shelby and Emily; several sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Calling hours will held at the Heller Funeral Home, Schenevus on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 2 p.m. to the memorial service at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Keith VanDewerker, retired, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Dr., Oneonta, NY 13820.
The Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St., Schenevus, is serving the family.
