Richmondville - Katherine Marie Scheiner Hill, 39, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

She was born October 28, 1981 in Plantation, Florida, the daughter of Paul William and Carla Ann Scheiner.

Katie grew up in Florida and moved to the Richmondville/Worcester area in her early 20s. She married Alfred Hill in 2004. She was a loving mother to Devon, Angelina, Julia and Sophia. She is also survived by her mother, Carla Ann Scheiner; her father, Paul William Scheiner and his wife, Helen Nennstiel; her sister, Laura Ann Scheiner; a close special friend, George Lacitignola; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Charles and Prudence Scheiner.

For the past several years Kate enjoyed renovating houses with George. She was hard-working and meticulous. Kate was very outgoing, energetic and always on the go. She had a gregarious personality with a good sense of humor.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Thursday, November 4 at Main Street Baptist Church, 333 Main St. in Oneonta with the Rev. Gary Bonebrake officiating.

Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester.
