Unadilla – Kevin Ramford , 69, passed away October 6, 2021 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.

He was born September 7, 1952 in Brooklyn, the son of Alfonzo McKelvey and Mary Davis.  Kevin was raised in New York City . He spent some time living with his beloved grandmother, who m he adored.

Kevin was a great advocate for himself. He was a firm believer in fair treatment for all. He participated in several marches at the Capital Building in Albany advocating for disabilities.

Kevin's sense of humor was unmatched. He loved to play little jokes and make people smile. His nickname was "pimp daddy" and he would loving ly call women he felt close to "mama".

Kevin love d going to many places and experiencing all he could. H e loved visiting New York City to shop or go to a show , whale watching in Boston , burlesque shows, antiques, animals, babies, kids and the elderly .  He volunteered with work programs and loved helping people.  Kevin attended of the Living Water Church in Oneonta where he was baptized.  Kevin enjoyed going to the Center for Self-Expression, where continued to develop his artists skills.

He is survived by his family at The ARC Otsego and numerous friends he made along his life's journey. Kevin was very close with his dear friends Cindi Roe, Michelle Gilbert and his housemate of several years. He touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at The ARC Otsego at a later date .
