OTEGO – Kim Joy Hughes Wiltsie, 62, lost her battle with Pulmonary Hypertension on February 13, 2019.

She was born in Ilion, NY to William and Ellinor Hughes. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David; her children, Adam (Kari) Birdsall, Stephanie (Tony) Lane, Caitlin Wiltsie, and Jensen Wiltsie; her parents, Bill and Ellinor; sisters, Carol Hay, Cindy (Jeff) Costley, Lisa (DJ) Baird;  mother-in-law, Rosemary Wiltsie; beloved grandchildren, Jack and Alex Birdsall, Nick and Ana Weinbrenner, Evelyn and Jorgie Lane; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and devoted canine companions, Rocky and Barkley.

Kim was a graduate of Gilbertsville Central School, Valedictorian, Class of 1975. She loved to read, travel and be with her family.  She was so smart that her family at gatherings could challenge her to a game of Trivial Pursuit and she would surely win. Kim will be missed but we will see her again.

Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.
