SCHENEVUS – Kurt A. Krueger Jr., 49, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Monday, September 17, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare Hospital in Cooperstown.


Kurt was born September 12, 1958 in Jersey City, NJ the son of Kurt and Janet (Voss) Krueger.


Kurt married Jean Kelly on May 13, 1978 in Union City, NJ and spent 29 wonderful years together.


Kurt lived in Schenevus for the last 26 years. He had a great love for his family and flying radio controlled airplanes and was the Secretary for the RC Flyers club. Kurt was also the Transportation Supervisor for the Schenevus Central School District.


Kurt is survived by his parents, Kurt and Janet Krueger of Schenevus; his loving wife, Jean; one son, Justin and fiancé Christine of East Greenbush; one daughter, Elise and friend, Josh of Schenevus; mother in-law, Theresa Kelly of Schenevus; one brother, Anthony of Wayne, NJ; four sisters, Linda Andreoli of Washington, NJ, Barbara of Littleton NC, Carol of Schenevus, Janet of Albany, TX and several nieces, nephews and cousins.


Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Heller Funeral Home in Schenevus. A Vigil Service will be at 3:45 p.m. and a recitation of the Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m..


A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 20, 2007 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Worcester, with the Rev. Edward Golding, as celebrant.


Interment will take place in the Schenevus Cemetery following the service.
