Westford - Larry H. "Dee" Roseboom, 86, passed away, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on October 15, 1935 in Westford, the son of Horace and Ethelyn (Hubbard) Roseboom.

Larry was a life-long, 6 ^th generation dairy farmer. His Elk Meadows Farm was the first farm settled in the Town of Westford.

He graduated from Andrew S. Draper in Schenevus and then went on to Cobleskill Ag & Tech.

Along with farming, Larry was a Maple Syrup producer and beekeeper. He enjoyed attending several Farmers Markets.

He was a member of the Westford Historical Association, president of the Westford Cemetery Association, Schenevus Grange, Otsego Co. Soil and Water, Otsego Co. Maple Producers and the Tired Iron Tractor Club.

Larry is survived by his children, Tracy and her husband, Jim Odell of Schenevus and Ben and his wife, Debbie Roseboom of Westford; his grandchildren, Kari Dresser, Timothy Dresser, Matthew Odell, Michael Odell, Taylor Roseboom and Corey Roseboom; his great grandson, Keaton March; his 3 sisters, Winifred Buckingham, Emily Longtin and Joan Wilkinson, several nieces and nephews, his best friend Elizabeth Roseboom and his adored cat pepper.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Warren and Herbert.

A special thank-you to Carter Cook and Liz Zurawski, Adam Feil, Rhoda and Helios Care.  Because of Liz Roseboom's special care, Larry was able to be home for the past 9 months.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Westford Cemetery with the Rev. Frank MacCracken officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Larry to the Westford Fire Department or Helios Care.
