Laura Yager Munson, 93, passed away on February 6, 2025 at Cooperstown Center surrounded by her family.

Born Laura June Yager to Stanley "Doc" and Bessie (Briscoll) Yager on June 7, 1931 in Oneonta.

Laura attended the East End Elementary School and Oneonta High School where she met the love of her life Richard "Dick" Munson.  They were happily married on September 5, 1949, until his passing in January of 2019.

In her younger years, Laura enjoyed doing crafts with her sister Beattie.  She also loved going to Bingo several times a week, golfing, and playing cards with "the girls".

Laura is survived by her sons, Rick (Faye), Gary, and Keith (Sun); grandchildren, Shannon, Michele, Jason, Ashely, Brittany, Bret, and Heather; great-grandchildren, Ni'esa, Galisia, MarQies, Mathew, Aurora, Trinity, Karrie, Hunter, Cade, Evan, and Dominic.

She was predeceased by her parents; loving husband; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Beaner); sister, Beatrice Pizza and two other siblings whose names had escaped her.

Burial at the Glenwood Cemetery for Dick and Laura will be held in spring.
