Laurie K. Radner-Riccardi, 67, of Davenport Center, formerly Carmel, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of October 9, 2012.

Laurie was born on January 8, 1945 in the Bronx. Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Joseph M. Riccardi, Sr. of Davenport Center; her adoring daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Stanley Shaffer, of Oneonta, and their children, Kayla Daisy, 11, and Cole Eric, 13. Laurie was predeceased by her beloved son, Eric John Sokerka, in 1984. She is also survived by her brother, Brett Radner (Pamela) of Connecticut; a sister, Dale Zigman (Ronnie) of Florida; two step children, Jennifer E. Riccardi of Cape Cod, MA and Joseph M. Riccardi, Jr., and his wife, Lisa, and their two children, Jenna and Michael, of Long Island.

Laurie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially holiday times, reading, boating, RVing, going to the Cape and Virginia Beach, and playing with her dogs Fiona, Isabella, and Niles, as well as, her crazy Siamese "TAZ" and cat Virginia.

A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Jackson Ave. & Saw Mill River Rd., Hastings On Hudson, NY.
