September 15, 1931 – January 18, 2022
Union Springs – Leonard L. Beers, 90, formally of Norwich and Otego, passed away January 18, 2022 at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.

Leonard was a true outdoors man. He had a love of hunting, fishing, camping, trapping and just enjoying the great outdoors. He could walk for hours in the woods listening to the sound of birds and searching for deer and turkey sign. His love for nature was best evidenced in the devotion that he had to his pet grouse. The two shared a special bond and Leonard treasured the times that he could walk to the spot in the woods and call to his bird, who would happily arrive to be fed or maybe go for a ride with him on the four-wheeler.
