Leonard A. Haynes' Obituary
Leonard Arthur Haynes born August 18, 1937, passed away peacefully at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, on Sunday, December 30, 2012.
Leonard was a life long resident of Oneonta and Margaretville areas. He worked as a logger retiring in 1979 due to a logging accident.
He is predeceased by his life partner of 34 years, Gladys Moseman on May 23, 1999; step daughters, Lola Curran on May 17, 2004 and Linda Aubry on March 14, 2008.
He is survived by her sister, Doris Wetmore; a son, Len and wife, Brenda Haynes; a step son, Shannon and wife, Shirley Moseman; step daughter, Laurel and husband, Randall Curran, along with several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and a special friend, Sylvia Dymond.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
